To complete the AS-Interface Network, Sitomatic offers a wide range of network connectors and cables, specially designed for AS-i networks. Some advantages of the Sitomatic cable system are the round cable and the combination with a short-circuit protection. This prevents an entire network from failing in the event of a failure in a connected slave. Due to security, only the affected unit will fail but not the entire network. The disturbed unit is also easy to find thanks to the LED indication of the short-circuit protection.
