The E-stop slave (Ø 22 mm) is designed for the transmission of safety-related informations up to Safety Category 4 (EN 954-1) or Safety Integrity Level SIL3 (IEC 61508) respectively.
The safe slave features by a permanent monitoring and the safety shutdown in case of unintentional separation of the E-stop actuator (patent applied). The additonal digital output can be used for the control of an external pilot light for indication purposes or as emergency lighting. These safe slaves fit onto several E-stop pushbuttons out of the Schlegel line. These E-stops are actuated by pushing and released by twisting the upper part. Disconnection (opening + latching) is clearly defined and effected by the fool-proof release function, which is achieved by power storaging and a snap-action mechanism.
