Pepperl+Fuchs offers gateways from AS-Interface (acc. to sepc. 2.11) to all common field buses. The new K20 housing series made from high grade steel with a width of only 75 mm offers new functions and a new style with improved display that fits ideal into a switch box.
The Profibus connection is lower at the side to ensure a flush mounting of the device with connected Profibus connector at a height of only 83 mm. So the device fits perfectly into a flat switch box. The big, graphic display with background lightning ensures a good visibility. Extensive diagnosis functions simplifies trouble tracking. Double addressing is recognized and indicated. The Gateway monitors any earth-leakage fault to AS-Interface. The integrated earth fault concept and the plug-in Combicon-clamps guarantees a safe installation and a error-free replacement.
