AS-Interface Safety at Work increase by 62%

The manufacturers notary statistic for the first half year 2007 has been analyzed now. The figures prove the manufacturers good feelings. The AS-Interface standard components showed a wealthy grow.

AS-Interface is the market leader in the Sensor/Aktuator level, with more than 13,5 Million nodes in the field, a well situated position. For the last years AS-Interface showed a continues almost predictable growth. The current turnover increase in the European market meets expected values.

The success of the safety technology with AS-Interface is resounding, in the first half year 2007, 62% more safety devices have been sold than in second half year 2006. The simplicity is the winning seller of AS-Interface in this point. There have been already 350.000 safety devices with AS-Interface in the field last year. The benefits in costs of AS-Interface obviously have worked the circuit, for this reason a consequent trend has to be considered.
