range.These elements are designed for a mounting hole diameter of 22.3 mm in the front panel.The elements are
joined with the contact block by snap-on mounting into the coupling.
The AS-Interface standard contact block is a slave with 2 I/1 O for the AS-Interface field bus system. It has been designed
for the extended address range and corresponds to profile S-B.A.E. (2 inputs and 2 outputs). Some of the standard contact
blocks are additionally provided with an external short-circuit proof and overload proof output for controlling an external
LED or a buzzer.
Both outputs can use an integrated pulse modulation feature to reduce the current to 50%, 25% or 12.5% of the continuous
current and thereby implement a dimming function.
