| | Products | | | Manufacturer: Contact:Mr. Andreas Schiff Category:Accessories and Other Addressing and Diagnostic Units | AS-iExpertThe Diagnosis-Tool for AS-Interface NetworksOrder No.:AE001Description:The AS-Interface network diagnosis tool AE001, the 'AS-iExpert', measures the quality of transmission of AS-Interface networks and determines, whether these work error free. It can be used either in the field at the location of a network installation or in the development laboratory.
The 'AS-iExpert' supports two modes of operation: For the capture of communication parameters and for a general quality measurement in the field the 'automatic mode' is used. In this mode it is sufficient to connect the instrument via the adapter cable to the network under test and via the USB cable to a PC/notebook. After start of the control program and after a certain measurement time the data collected may be saved. In case errors or warnings are reported, they should be resolved using the advice given by the program in text output. For the 'automatic mode' no special knowledge of AS-Interface is required.
The second mode, 'expert mode', is intended for the detailed analysis of problems that may have been detected in the AS-Interface network. This mode requires special knowledge of AS-Interface and the applied principles of communication. It can be used by trained service personel in the field as well as by product development engineers in the laboratory. It allows an in-depth analysis of the communcation on the network.Specification:V3.0Special Features:The AS-iExpert gives a realtime overview of the signal quality of master and slaves in % of every active participant in the network at the measuring point.
The AS-iExpert offers a detailed realtime analysis of the telegrams ('eye pattern') for precise detection of amplitude and/or timing errors.
The AS-iExpert offers a communication error statistic with errors caused by the master or the slave shown separately.
The AS-iExpert allows analysis of master call and slave response as oscilloscope trace by intelligent, content based triggering. |
