Description:

ME-Line modules are used to connect the digital terminal equipment with AS-Interface in the control cabinet. The modules are mounted directly on the DIN rail. The design width is only 22.5 mm for all versions. The entire connection system of the AS-Interface bus and of the inputs/outputs is designed with pluggable COMBICON connectors. Color coding for AS-Interface and the auxiliary power supply avoids confusion. The modules support expanded AS-Interface addressing for up to 62 devices in the system. In addition, they provide I/O error diagnostics which communicates any overload of the sensor power supply or the outputs to the controller. The sensor inputs can either be supplied via the AS-Interface voltage or via an external voltage. For fast startup, the standard addressing socket allows the addresses of the modules to be set when installed
